Frances Wolf, of Sanford, born 11/26/34 to Alton and Louise Fowler in Cochran, GA, went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Wolf; daughters, Julie Wolf (Greg Sahlsten) (Orlando) and Gonja Wolf (San Diego, CA); and two grandchildren Sonja Sahlsten (Washington, DC) and Steven Sahlsten (Orlando). Also surviving are sisters (Beulah, Mary, Tina) and brothers (Alton, Bill), all from Georgia. Predeceased by brother, Bo. Frances earned her bachelor's degree in education from FAU. After retiring as a schoolteacher from Broward County Public Schools, she taught at U.S. Military bases in Japan, Korea, and Germany. She traveled the world with her husband, visiting every continent except Antarctica. She was an accomplished teacher, chef, homemaker and a loving and caring wife, sister, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
