Frances Jean Darby (Porreco), 83, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2017 at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born on December 6, 1933 in Akron, Ohio. Frances was the beloved wife of the late William A. Darby. She was the devoted mother of William Jeffrey Darby and John Christopher Darby. She was the doting grandmother of Christine Nicole Darby and John Christopher Darby II.

Frances graduated from North High in Akron, Ohio. She married William in 1956 and relocated to Longwood, Florida with her family in 1975. Frances enjoyed cooking her "famous" baked spaghetti at Christmas along with her other specialties throughout the year, but most of all Frances cherished her children, grandchildren, family and her friends.

Frances is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William, her sister, Rosie and her brother, Pete. Frances is survived by her sons, William "Bill" of Altamonte Springs, FL and John (Mary Beth) of Lake Mary, FL; grandchildren, Christine and John.
