Forrest DuVal Dowdy, Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 83 in Orlando Florida February 12th 2026.
Forrest is survived by his sisters, Sharon Backe of Clermont Fl and Denise Diroff of Altamonte Springs Fl, his brother Brian Dowdy Murrells Inlet SC. His nephews Richard Bates of Deerfield Beach Fl, James Diroff of Germantown TN and Jeff Dowdy of Murrells Inlet SC and his nieces Kristen Bates of Winter Springs Fl and Dominique Diroff of Middleburg Va.
Forrest was born January 14, 1943 in Hopewell Va to Forrest DuVal Dowdy, Sr. and Christine Parker Dowdy. He will rest next to his parents in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester Va.
