Floyd Dale Rock, 89, of Winter Park, FL went to be with his Lord on January 19, 2017. He was born in Cuba, IL to Floyd and Grace (Miller) Rock. Dale served in the United States Air Force and Illinois Air National Guard for 11 years, worked on the NASA Space Program with Aerospace Corp. and North American Rockwell from 1956-1969, then Harris Corporation from 1969-1988.
Dale had a great love of God and was always actively involved with his church. He enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips with his wife; visiting every state. He was an avid biker logging over 55,000 miles, and enjoyed working in the yard-- always with his beloved dog by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lucille Audrey Keiser Rock, children Ann Rock Cavanaugh of Winter Park, FL, John F. Rock of Cocoa, FL, Robert D. Rock of Meridian, ID, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 4:00 PM
