On August 11, 2021, at the age of 97, Florence Kliss gained her wings and joined her heavenly family. All her family and friends were lucky to have been blessed to have had her so many years.

Florence loved life, always enjoying all the simple things. Her favorite times were the holidays, family gatherings, gardening, cooking, and going out for ice-cream. Florence was always active in many clubs including Elks and Senior Citizens Club. As a Grandmother Florence took great pride in her grandchildren and they are left with many cherished memories of her. Even in her 90's when she moved to Florida, she was still very active with the Saturday girls, arts and crafts, movies, and various events.

Early in their marriage, Florence, and her late husband Martin, started out owning and operating a bakery business in Erie PA, several years later they opened Martin's Furniture store in Camillus, NY. Then in their retirement they owned and managed a large apartment complex in Syracuse, NY. They took time one year to drive across the United State to see its beauty and visit many of the national parks. When they finally did retire, they took up snowmobiling to have fun in NY's cold winters. Their whole life together was filled with boating on NY states Finger Lakes. There was nothing they couldn't do as a team. They raised their family to be adventurous and embrace knowledge.

Florence is predeceased by her husband Martin Kliss (Kliszczewicz) to whom she was married to for 49 years. She is survived by her three children, Ted Kliszczewicz of Lake Mary, FL, Mary Tasior of Sanford, Fl and Cindy Coventry of Orlando, FL, her sister Joyce Sullivan of Baldwinsville NY, son-in-law Buddy Tasior, seven grandkids, seven great grandkids, several nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service honoring Florence's life will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at twelve (Noon) PM, at St Ann's Catholic Church, Debary, FL.
