Thanksgiving Service for the life of Fitzroy Benjamin Edward Brown Sr.

Fitzroy Benjamin Edward Brown Sr. of Clermont, Florida (formerly of Springfield MA) passed away August 22,2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of the late Reginold Brown and Jusill McKenzie.
Fitzroy migrated to the USA in January of 1964. By trade he was an Auto Body worker, he continued his craft working for various companies.
He opened his own business "BROWN'S AUTO BODY" located in West Springfield and Springfield Massachusetts for over 50 years until his retirement.
Fitzroy was a Deacon at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church of Springfield Massachusetts.
Fitzroy was a successful entrepreneur and community participant for worthy causes giving his time, energy and funds and helping others in need. During his tenure he was the recipient of many awards, some of his most prestigious awards were from the Senate of Massachusetts; The Brethren; and many other organizations.
One of his favorite organizations was being a member of the Black Men of Greater Springfield.
To cherish his memories, he leaves his wife Vivette Jean Anderson-Brown, sons Fitzroy Jr, Michael Brown, Patrick Brown & Steve Vanhorn, daughters Marcia Higgins (Delroy Higgins), Michelle Smith & Deborah Brown. His brothers Norman (Agetta Jones) Michael Brown, Tony Brown, James McKenzie Jr; David (Sandy Mckenzie), sister Gloria McCleary, his grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of family members and friends. A loving cousin Dorrell, (Orlando Williams), and his best friend Frank Robinson of Springfield MA.
