It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Fernando Medina Jr. on Wednesday April 29, 2020, at the age of 59.

Fernando was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico is survived by his 8 children Jessica (Anthony), Steven (Olivia), Joseph (Jasmine), Vanessa, Michael (Kimberly), Alexis, Ashley (Cece), and Jacob, four grandchildren Damian, Brook Lyn, Chasity, and Devin, his father Fernando Medina Sr., his partner of 15 years Nery, multiple step kids, his siblings, and multiple nephews and nieces.

Fernando was predeceased by his mother Nydia.

Our father was a burst full of energy. He enjoyed dancing, music, playing dominoes, and watching his sports and game shows. But most importantly he loved being with his family. Our father was a fighter and would take on any battle but unfortunately his battle against cancer was short and took our daddy away far too soon.

A private viewing and celebration of life will be held May 6, 2020; 5-6pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home.
