Obituary

Everlena Brown
December 23, 1955 – June 18, 2014
Everlena Brown of Orlando, FL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 18th, 2014. She was born to the late John and Audrey Price in Pittsburgh , PA. Everlena's time on earth was spent fruitful and she has left everlasting impressions on all of us.
Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside of them was superior to circumstance. She encouraged all of those around her to treat others with kindness, humility, mercy, gentleness, patience and forgiveness. She enveloped our hearts from every side. She had a passion for connecting with others and helping those in need. Her family was what she lived for and she embraced being a mother and grandmother with all that she had.
To say that she was brave and courageous is an understatement. She was a warrior and fought her battle with Cancer to the very end. She was a beautiful sister who lived big and loved even bigger even as she struggled to maintain her own place on this side of the veil. Everlena faced her fears head on by finding the light in a frightening situation. Overall, her admiration and respect laid at her son and daughter's feet.
Everlena had an entrepreneurial spirit. Her passion was cooking and she loved inviting all into her kitchen to teach them a thing or two. She also enjoyed making wigs, sewing, making crafts and homemade soaps.
The highlight of her life was being able to spend time with her grandson Juvoun. He was the apple of her eye and a true Angel given to us from above. She was able to create two years of memories with him and he will always know his "Yaya" and that she loved him so much.
She is predeceased by her Parents: John W. Price & Audrey C. Price, Partner: James E. Bugg, and Nephews: Jerome Hodges and Damien Stevonous Montese Turini.
She leaves to mourn and will be greatly missed by her family. Husband: Charles Brown, Children: Eric J. (Kelly) Bugg, and Christiana Brown, Beloved Grandchild who she loved so much: Juvoun E. Bugg, Sisters: Marilyn (Bruce) Brooks, Audrey Bruce, Barbara Session, Cynthia Hull and Ramona Mosley. Brothers: Rodney (Delores) Price, Ronald (Wendy) Price and Robert Price. Thirteen nieces and nephews, sixteen great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
