Evelyn Mae Virginia Knight went to be with her lifelong Valentine in heaven on Sunday, 2/14/16. Evelyn was born in Glyndon, MD on March 24, 1927 to Elizabeth and John Brown. She was the wife of 39 years to the late Marshall W. Knight of Finksburg, MD. Evelyn was a Sister to Betty Wimberley of Clermont, FL and John Smith of Silver Run, MD. Evelyn was the mother to three children, Marshall Stephen Knight of Deland, FL, Mark Alan Knight, Sr. of Daytona Beach, FL and Sheila Segars of Lake Mary, FL and one Step-Son, Larry E. Knight, Sr of Lighthouse Point, FL. She was Mother-in-Law to Suzanne Knight, Mary Knight, Craig Segars and Debbie Knight. She was known as Mom Mom to her 14 grandchildren, Larry Knight, Jr., Jeffrey Knight, Christine Belcher, Mark Knight, Jr., Christopher Knight, Angela Guy, Amanda Taylor, Ashley Knight, Katelyn Fowble, Alexander Segars, Lauren Knight, Alexander Knight , Anthony Knight and Ryelin Segars, as well as 7 great-grandchildren, Amanda Schiavino, Ashley Decker, Austin Knight, Robert Taylor, Jr., Jackson Taylor, Colin Knight and Harper Knight, and one Great Great Grandchild, Annabelle Schiavino. Evelyn lived in Maryland until August, 1992 when she relocated to Lake Mary, FL where she lived with her daughter. In 2012 she went to live at Consulate Healthcare in Altamonte Springs, FL.
Evelyn is now in heaven with the love of her life, Marshall, baking apple dumplings and listening to Marshall and his brothers play music like she so enjoyed during her life here on earth.
