Eugene (Geno ) Batts passed away June 3, 2023 at 64 years old.

Geno went to West Orange High School, served in the United States Marine Corp and last worked at ABF Freight Systems.

Remaining family members are his wife, Teri Batts; Son, Dan Batts; Daughter in law, Leslie Batts and Patricia Marshall; Grandchildren, Hannah Skipper-Batts, Ava Batts, Olivia Batts, and Wyatt Batts; brother, Thomas Prince; sisters, Lorane Barefoot, Betty Hopper, Barbara Hart, Linda Howell, and Tommie Lee Sykes.

Geno was a coach, mentor, inspiration and even hero to many throughout his entire life. You all know who you are - he loved and lived like no other with a "never let um see you sweat" attitude that included humor and accomplishing at least one thing every single day. He wants each and every one of you to live a joyous, adventurous, full and happy life and certainly lead by example- carry on the tradition.
