Etta Faye Livesay's Obituary
Etta Faye Livesay, 75, of Uniontown, PA passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Mt. Macrina Manor after a battle with serious health issues.
Etta was born on October 24, 1949 in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of Guy and Edna (McLaughlin) Friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James, Boyd, Lloyd, and Bud Friend, and sisters, Margaret Hennessy, Kaye Dudak, Opal Waggett, Thelma Wietzel, Charlotte Ann Friend and Joyce Lowery.
Etta was a passionate sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Dallas Cowboys, She enjoyed music from the 1950s and 60s, crocheting, bowling, soap operas, reading, and most of all, time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Etta is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Allen L. Livesay, daughter, Tanya Dvorchak and husband Keith of New Salem, PA, grandchildren, Maximum and McKenna Dvorchak, brother, Tom Friend and wife Sarah of Brownsville, sister Paulette Russo and husband Charles of Orlando, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA. Per her wishes, there will be no public visitation. Interment is private.
