Ernestine Medlar's Obituary
Ernestine Melton Medlar, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2019 at the age of 86 surrounded by family.
Ernestine (Tina) was born in Mableton, Georgia, on July 14,1933 to Ethel Mae Jordan Melton and Ernest Cleveland Melton.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Kenneth Joseph Medlar, Sr, their three children, Lynn Medlar Katz (Bruce (Bud) Katz), Kenneth J. Medlar, Jr. (Judy Medlar), and Melissa Anne Foster (Chris Foster), two granddaughters, Jennifer Marie Medlar and Abby Lynn Moll, and twin great grandchildren, Harper Lily & Neil Christopher Medlar.
A funeral mass was held on Monday, January 6, 2020, at 10:30 am at the All Souls Historic Chapel located at 800 S. Oak Avenue in Sanford, FL. A reception followed at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 905 S. Laurel Avenue, Sanford. The inurnment followed on Tuesday, January 7th, at 11:30 am, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery where Mom received her final blessing and rite of committal.
Arrangements were made by DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL.
Mom is always with us. Generous of spirit, she loved all. We carry her in our hearts.
