Our beloved Poppy, Ernest Martinez, 80, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at his home.

The Celebration of Life will be at 10:00am on Saturday, December 15th at DeGusipe Funeral Home at 9001 N. Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL.

Ernie was born in Bronx, New York to Ernesto and Josephine Martinez on May 13, 1938. He worked as a Mechanic shop manager for many decades. He enjoyed boating and travelling in his RV with his wife and family.

Ernie is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Olga and his eldest son Drew.

Ernie is survived by his wife Janet, his sister Sylvia, his sons Ricky and Adam, his daughters Vanessa, Carol, Chantel, Kelly and Senora, and eleven grandchildren: Eric, Lauren, Cody, Samantha, Jeffrey, Emily, Cameron, Nicholas, Jared, Malcom, Jacob.

The family of Ernest Martinez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's hospital or Wounded Warriors.
