Ernest (Ernie) Earl Jones (92), of Orlando Florida, died unexpectedly on October 23, 2025 at his home.
Ernie was born on August 9, 1933 in North Carolina to Earnest and Minnie Jones.
He married Thelma Lamb in 2013.
Ernie worked as a crane operator and help build Disney World. He retired from this position after 30 years. He was an avid car connoisseur/purchaser.
Ernie is survived by his wife Thelma, step-daughter Sonya Hamilton and step-grand son Bradley Hamilton, and step-daughter-in-law Joyce Lamb and her grand daughters Victoria, Julianna, and Jocelyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 10 siblings, 3 previous wives, stepson Mark Anthony Lamb and his daughter Christy Harrell Beason.
Interment will be held in April. Plans to be determined. Please check back for details.
