Dr. "Emmy" Freeman of Eustis, Florida died peacefully August 26, 2015. Born Emma Kay Buettner, January 4, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida and the University of Wisconsin for her undergraduate studies. Emmy is survived by her son, Evan Freeman, her fraternal twin brother, Dennis Buettner, and Chase her granddaughter. Her parents Ewin and Myrtle Buettner (neeRohm) predeceased her.

She was a beautiful, spiritual, energetic, and generous woman, beloved by family, friends, patients and her many animal companions, and will be sorely missed.

Aside from her professional career in which she maintained a psychology practice for many years, Emmy enjoyed travel, and frequently invited her Mother to join her on global ocean and river cruises and trips to the Holy Land. She was also active in making the world a better place for humans and animals.

Donations to The Seminole Humane Society, PETA and Nature Conservancy in her name are encouraged.
