Mr. Elster Mullins, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky died at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Mr. Mullins was born in Dickenson County, Virginia on November 7, 1926 to the late Carl A. Mullins and Mary (Bryant) Mullins.
Mr. Mullins retired as the Division Manager from Sears in Pontiac, Michigan after 25 years of service. He was a WWII Army veteran and was a member of the University Church of Christ in Murray.

In addition to his parents Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his wife, Arbutus (Vanover) Mullins; four brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Larry Douglas Mullins and wife Wanda of Murray, Kentucky and Wyndal Mullins and wife Maria of Sarasota, Florida; three sisters, Bobbie Senter and husband Rodney of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Pearl Karnoski and husband Bob of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Dicy Harper and husband Ron of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; one brother, Lowell Thomas Mullins and wife Pat of Orlando, Florida; as well as five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held a the R. Lee Williams & Son Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Florida on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Thursday. Burial will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
