Elsie N. Owens 96 of St. Petersburg passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020. She was born in Telford, Pennsylvania and was a secretary. Locally she was a member of Clearview United Methodist Church where she was an office volunteer for many years. Elsie is survived by step-children: Conway (Connie) Henderson and her husband, James; she was preceded in death by two step-sons: James E. Owens Jr. and John Thomas Owens. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Deborah Owens (Deceased), Suzanne Webb (Mitch), Cynthia Dove (Robert), James L. Henderson Jr. (Deceased), Michael Earl Henderson (Brenda), Cheryl Simpson, Kathrine Ensley (Tom), Megan Marsello (Anthony), and Patricia Frazier (Aaron); 18 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren and her friend and caregiver, Gene Benware. Memorial Services will be conducted at Clearview United Methodist Church 4515 38th Ave. No., St. Petersburg, Florida on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2 pm with Pastor Keri LaBrent.
