ELLIE JUANITA COLEMAN MIKELL, 92, of Branford, FL, passed from this life to heaven on December 11, 2016 at Tri-County Nursing Home, Trenton, FL. She was born August 28, 1924 in Olustee, FL to the late Russell and Mamie Coleman. Mrs. Mikell was a member of McCall's Chapel United Methodist Church, Branford, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, J.W. Mikell, Jr., in 2004; and four sisters, Lettie Deas, Wilma Allen, Malovene Elrod, and Ruby Henry.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Bernard) Dalton of Orlando, Vera (Frank) Sodek of Alachua, Donna (Mickey) Mullins of Branford; a son, Randy Mikell of Branford; eight grandchildren, Susan, Jill, Guy, Amy, Adam, Aaron, Josh, and Matthew; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at McCall's Chapel United Methodist Church, 7755 South SR-349, Branford, FL 32008, with Pastor David Rogers officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
