Elizabeth Jane Yeazell, 91, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Elizabeth was born August 11, 1933, in Fort Loramie, Ohio to the late Albert L. and Catherine E (Barhorst) Boerger. She married her husband, Robert Yeazell in 1989, at The Cathedral of St. Jude's Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Elizabeth is survived by her 'bonus' children, sons James Yeazell of Springfield, Ohio, Daniel Yeazell Sr. of St. Petersburg, Florida, Christopher Yeazell of Seminole, Florida, and daughter Cindy Shafer of St. Petersburg, Florida. Along with these 'bonus' children were the many blessings she called grandchildren, sister-in-law Marcia Boerger of Ft. Loramie, sister-in-law Rita (Couchot) Boerger of Leesburg, Florida.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers; Urban, Albert, James, Walter, and Harold; sisters; Virginia Prueter, Veronica Unverferth, Patricia Pulfer, Eileen Wagner, and Mildred Boerger, brothers-in-law; Robert Prueter, William Wagner, Paul Unverferth, Ronald Pulfer, sisters-in-law; Ruth Boerger and Helen Boerger.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Ft. Loramie High School in Ft. Loramie, Ohio and was a member of Cathedral of St. Jude's Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 25, at 9:30 in the Our Lady's Chapel at the Cathedral of St. Jude's with interment at Calvary Cemetery. If you are unable to attend, the mass will be live streamed at stjudesp.org.
