In loving memory of Elizabeth J (Betty) Benson.
Born in Mineola, NewYork on July 2,1934 to Edward and Catherine Halleran. She was the 7th child of 11. Betty left this world in the loving embrace of her family at the age of 88.

She was a widower of David G Benson. Betty is survived by her sisters Catherine and Edna and her 9 children; David, Kevin, John(Jack), Russell, Glenn, Daniel, Elizabeth, Michael, and Robert. Mother figure to her son-in-law and daughter-in- laws. She was blessed with 31 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She left a loving family legacy.

Betty lived on Long Island most of her life and moved to Altamonte Springs in 2009. Her love for her family was unlimited and selfless. Many knew Betty as a loving, caring mother, a great friend and a powerful woman of God. Betty was a devout Christian who attended Victory church for years before moving to Word of faith family church due to the location of her home. Betty made many friends from both churches which were close to her heart. Betty volunteered her time in nursing homes and was a vessel for the Lord. She brought many hearts to Jesus. Betty liked to paint, loved her garden and the outdoors. But most off Betty enjoyed spending time with her family.

A special heartfelt thank-you to all her family and friends, past and present for all their love and support in this time of sorrow. We will miss her beautiful smile, her kind and compassionate heart and her loving spirit. Our love for her will burn in our hearts forever and always.
