Eligio Canezo was born on December 1, 1928 at Tiwi, Albay, Philippines. He was married to Obdulia Buenavente, deceased. He graduated from the University of the East with a Bachelors of Economics/Finance. He worked in Constress Philippines as an accountant, and later become a businessman. He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior on July 1997. He was baptized and was a member of the International Baptist Church of Pinellas, Inc.
