Elgin H. Myers Jr.'s Obituary
Elgin H. Myers Jr. (Bud) passed peacefully at Florida Hospital, Orlando, FL on August 7th, 2019.
Bud was a lifelong resident of Sanford, Florida. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and had a true passion for spending time in the woods, at the beach, and on Lake Jessup. More than anything, he loved being with this family.
He graduated from Seminole High School in 1952. Bud was employed by the railroad through 1962 at which time he left to begin lifelong career in commercial freshwater fishing.
Bud is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann Myers, brother Lewis Myers, sister Jean Taylor, sons Buddy, David, Rik, Terry, and Butch and their spouses, grandchildren Brad, Matt, Brittney, Taylor, TJ, Jake, D.J., and Kayla and their spouses and great grandchild Ella Rae.
A greeting of friends and family is scheduled for Sunday, August 11th, at 1:00 followed by a celebration of life starting at 2:00 at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 905 Laurel Ave Sanford Fl .32771.
