Nelda Elaine (Mims) Galloway - Age 80

Born : 2/22/1940 – Flat Rock, Alabama
Passed : 11/26/20 – Sanford, Florida

Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband David,

her sisters, Armillda Covington and Judy Morris,

and her parents, A.C. and Laura Mims.

Elaine is survived by her sister Ann Newton.

her 5 children: David, Jr. (Ronda); Daniel (Susan); Wendy (Tim)
Amy (Bill): Ben (Kelly)

and her 12 grandchildren and great grandson

A loving mother and homemaker, Elaine enjoyed caring for children and grandchildren, and preparing meals for her family. As her children began families of their own, she continued that tradition, especially over the holidays. She doted over every grandchild and loved every moment of being a grandmother. She and her late husband David were great examples of Christian parents. They were both longtime members of the Sanford church of Christ. She missed her husband every day after his passing, but it is comforting to know they are together again in glory. Her passing was bitter-sweet. She endured some health issues at the end of her life but that did not take away from the love she had for her children and the love her children had for her. Funeral services are being arranged.
