Elaine P. Cullen passed peacefully from this life on January 8th, 2026, after fighting a courageous battle against Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for the past 18 months. Elaine was born on February 23, 1955, to Vincent J. Harmer and Kathryn L. Harmer (nee Beirne) in Jersey City, New Jersey. She spent most of her life in Bayonne, New Jersey until she married her beloved husband, Kevin, and relocated several times: Freehold, Howell and Old Bridge – all in New Jersey - ultimately settling in Lake Mary, Florida.

While attending college part-time at Jersey City State, she began to work at the Provident Savings Bank in Jersey City, New Jersey as a part-time teller. Elaine advanced up the corporate ladder, wore many hats, took on many responsibilities and ultimately retired as a Senior Vice President in August, 2019, after a 45 year career. She then relocated to Florida.

As a lifelong, practicing Roman Catholic, Elaine was a woman of faith and she was always active and involved in her home Parish: St. Andrew's and St. Vincent's in Bayonne, NJ, St. Robert Bellarmine in Freehold, NJ and Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Fl.

Elaine married Kevin on February 20th, 1994, and together they shared a long and happy life. Their home was always open and quickly became Holiday Central. It was not unusual to find 20, 30 or even 40 people at a holiday dinner, birthday party or pool party. Elaine loved people and being around people. Her infectious smile and vibrant personality attracted people to her and they loved being in her company as much as she loved being in theirs.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Kevin M. Cullen, her sister Maureen K. Harmer, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. She was predeceased by her mom and dad and her sister, Geraldine M. Bundy.

Elaine was a huge personality and life force. She had an impact on everyone she knew and she will be deeply and greatly missed.
