Edward "Eddie" Mendoza died unexpectedly in Orlando, Florida on July 11th, 2024 at the age of 66.

Eddie is survived by his daughter Justine Rodriguez-Mendoza and her husband Josue Rodriguez of Kissimmee, Florida, son Dominick Mendoza and his wife Kathryn Mendoza of Casselberry, Florida, beloved grandsons Jayson Font and Jordan Rodriguez, Loving mother Marcelina Mendoza, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife Alice Mendoza.

Eddie was born on June 19th, 1958 to Marcelina Colon and Domingo Mendoza in East Meadow, New York.

He Graduated from West Hempstead High School in 1976. He married Alice San Millian in 1980.
In 2013 at the age of 55 he went back to college and received a degree and many certificates in air conditioning and refrigeration. After facing many challenges and hardships he made the decision to completely change his life around and became an inspiration to many.

A viewing is scheduled for July 19th, 2024 at DeGusipe Funeral Home from 11:30am to 1:00pm with service to follow. Hector Mendoza will officiate the ceremony.
