Edward J. Hofmann,

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edward Hofmann, on October 30, 2018. He was 77 years old, from St. Petersburg, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife Dorene, whom he has shared his life with for over 50 years. Previous to moving to Florida, in 1975, he was the Captain of a commercial fishing vessel, in Long Island, New York. After relocating to Florida, over the last 30 years, he and his wife built a successful business together. However, their greatest accomplishment and treasured reward was in the birth of their three precious daughters. Tracy Hofmann, Tricia Hofmann-White, and Tara Hofmann-Leonard. Tracy Hofmann is the mother of Chloe Hofmann-Curtis and Sage Hofmann. Tricia and Matt White have created two loving children Breilyn Hadley and Berklee Lada White . Tara and Joel Leonard together created Coedyn Jospeh Edward and Cyrihn Joellyn Leonard. He was a man of honor, whom his family and friends respected. His endearing personality and gentle touch was appreciated by all. Whether it was receiving endless medical treatments or unconditional love from his grandchildren, he always said "please" and "thank you", all while maintaining a smile on his face. He was a commitment to bravery, all along the way with such strength and courage. While we will forever miss him during our living days ...we will try to find comfort knowing that God has chosen him to represent kindness and selfless behavior to those in heaven. My love, our daddy, and our poppy, we will look for you soon...
