Edna Mae Heil, 88, of Sanford, Fl passed away peacefully in her sleep at 5:18am on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Edna was born on July 12, 1927 to Russell and Gertie Chaudoin of Sorrento, Fl.

Edna was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Edna enjoyed gardening, her most cherished hobby was quilting.

Edna was first married to Renee Jimenez, in this union they had nine children. Renee (Daisy) of Bear Branch, Ky; Carolyn, of Sanford, Fl; Horace, of Sorrento, Fl; Jack (Trudy), of Sorrento, Fl; Donna, of Sorrento, Fl; Johnny, of Perry, Fl; Suzanne, of Sanford, Fl: Robert (Carmen), of Sanford, Fl and Lesia (Timmy), of Sorrento, Fl. Edna also took Henry Bridgeman, of Perry, Fl, under her wings as a young man and raised him as her own. They resided in Lake Mary, Fl and moved to Sanford, Fl after the death of her husband Renee. Edna married, James T. Heil in 1975. Edna is survived by all of her children, a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Celebration of this remarkable lady, will be held at 3pm on Feb. 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Osteen. Reception will follow at The Colonial Room Restaurant in downtown Sanford.
