Edgar Martinez, age 64, passed away on June 22, 2020. Edgar was born to Victoria and Angel Martinez on December 24, 1955. He was the eldest of five children.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Quinn Martinez; his three children, Shirley Smith, James Martinez and Leslie Martinez; his three stepchildren, Meghan Kessel, Erin Epstein and Stephen Epstein; his six grandchildren, Dominic Campbell, Natalie Smith, Juliana Smith, Julian Martinez, Adrian Martinez, Reyna Phillips and two step grandchildren, Rory Kessel and Quinn Kessel; and his siblings, Idelisa Martinez, Irvin Martinez and Ilsa Martinez.

Edgar was a United States Army Veteran and a retired VA Medical Center nurse. He had a zest for life and adventure and loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed biking, traveling, golfing, and drinking margaritas.

A visitation for close family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 28th from 2 – 4:30 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home - 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required and capacity in the chapel will be limited to 60 people.

There will be a private burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL.
