Earle Agnew Welsh died on December 24th, 2024 in Lake Mary, FL at the age of 84. Earle was born on October 12th, 1940 in Tampa, FL to parents Rose Richardson and Earle Basil Welsh.

Earle grew up in Atlanta, GA where he received his undergraduate degree and masters in Ceramics Engineering from Georgia Tech. He met and married his first wife, Janet Marie Burcham, in Atlanta, then moved to Longwood, FL in 1974 to begin his career at Martin Marietta. Their son, Eric Welsh, was born in 1975.

Earle was Scout Master of his son's troop, 234, for several years, and remained active in the local Scouting community afterwards. Earle retired from Lockheed-Martin in 2013 to care for Janet during her late-stage breast cancer, from which she died in 2015.

Earle married Kathy Heuring in 2017, with whom he lived until his death. Earle is survived by his wife, Kathy Welsh; son, Eric Welsh and his wife, Courtney; and grandson, Nathan Welsh.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on February 8th, 2025 at Community Methodist Church in Casselberry, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the local Boy Scouts of America or the Community Methodist Church Choir would be appreciated.
