Dwight Moody Smith of Orlando entered into Heaven on July 25 at the age of 91 following a brief illness.

Dwight was born on January 18, 1928 in Oklahoma. After high school, he began military service in the United States Navy in 1945 during World War II serving as an Electrician's Mate First Class.

Following his military service, Dwight was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller, retiring in 1987.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Susie Smith and his daughter Judy Young. He is survived by his wife of fifty three years Margaret Smith of Orlando; daughters Jeanne Fogarty of Pensacola and Prudence Vermilyea of Orlando; son C.W. Myers of Orlando; brother Allen R. Smith of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

At Dwight's request no services will be held.
