November 20, 1931 - November 10, 2023
Dr. Mishra passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Janaki, their four children – Sadhana, Sandhya, Sanjay and Sangita – and their respective families, which includes eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Dr. Mishra was born in Hajipur, Bihar, India. From a young age, he pursued his passion for medicine. He immigrated to the United States in 1963 to further his education and specialize. Eventually, he and his family settled in Fayetteville, Arkansas where Dr. Mishra served as a urologist at the VA Medical Center for over 30 years. In 2005, he retired to Orlando, Florida where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and playing tennis. Dr. Mishra was a role model in the Indian community and was truly passionate about his heritage. He led a beautiful life and left an inspiring legacy.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 PM on Monday, November 13th at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory, 9001 Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Hindu Society of Central Florida and/or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
