In loving memory of our father Douglas T Kavanaugh who passed away July 6th 2026.

Our dad was a Roman Catholic born in Boston, Massachusetts who was devoted to his church all of his life.

He was an altar boy, a sacristan, a Eucharistic minister, a lector and a member of the choir. He was privileged to travel to Italy to read at Holy Mass in St Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. A true highlight of his life. 

Our Dad loved very deeply; And he was deeply loved in return by his five children Janice. Kevin.(Pattie) Laura. Barbara. Joyce. And two grandsons, Justin and Jason (Becca) Douglas was born to Patrick and Elizabeth Kavanaugh, the 6th of 13 children.

Growing up in Boston, Dad loved New England sports teams and passed that enthusiasm on to his children.

Dad will truly be missed every day.

He will live in our hearts forever.

In the words of Mother Teresa,

"Death is nothing else but going home to God. The bond of love will be unbroken for all eternity."

A funeral mass for Douglas will be held at a later date.
