Dorothy Helen Marcle (Drew), 76 of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away March 16 from non-small cell lung cancer at her daughter's home in Orlando, FL. Dorothy was 76.

Dorothy Helen Marcle, the daughter of William R. Drew and Barbara J. (Badger) Grey was born May 25, 1942 in San Diego, California. Although she was a military "brat" she spent most of her young life growing up in San Diego County. She graduated from Oceanside High School, Oceanside, California in 1959. Dorothy lived in San Diego for many years raising her children but moved to Florida in 1979. She retired from Child Support Enforcement for the State of Florida in 2013. While she held many jobs, the one she held longest - and the one she poured her heart into was being a Mom to her five children. Preceded in death by her mother, Barbara J. (Badger) Grey, step-mother Micky Drew, step-father Hal O'Conner, daughter Cassandra (Cassie) Jean (Gallardo) Curtin, granddaughter Justina (Justy) Curtin, sisters Loretta (Drew) Underhill and Ruth (O'Conner) Cantonwine, brothers Rick O'Conner and John Drew. She is survived by her father, William R. Drew of El Cajon, CA, her loving children, Anthony (Tony) Gallardo, Melissa (Gallardo) wife of Paul Kominos, John Isaac and Allison (Grant) wife of Michael McMullan; grandchildren Nathan Curtin, Sam and Alexis Kominos, Ashley Diedrich and Matthew Diaz; great grandchildren Kennedy, Kyndall and Elle Curtin, Brooke Dampier and Landon Centeno; brothers William Drew, Russel Drew married to Linda Drew and sisters Charlotte Pardee, Edna Peralta, Barbie Jauregui and Terry married to Chris Peirce. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Her greatest joy in her second half of life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person who thought of others long before thinking of herself. She will be sadly missed.
