Doris Jean Johnson, 70, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2020. She was born in Detroit, MI to Virginia A. (Lewis) Sharpe and Wendell E. Sharpe on December 23, 1949. Doris was a RN at Florida Hospital for 45 years. She took pride in caring for not only her patients, but her family and friends. She was a breast cancer survivor of 18 years . An animal lover (especially her cats she loved so much). Preceded in death by her father, Wendell E. Sharpe; mother, Virginia A. Sharpe; and sister, Karen S. Stroup. Doris is survived by daughter, Melissa (Johnson) Gustafson; five grandchildren, Brooke Hamann (fiancé Samuel Morales), Courtney Hamann, Lily, Sean E., and Christopher Gustafson; great granddaughter, Zoey Morales; and her beloved cat of 17 years, Snicker.
