Doris "Jeanie" (Newell) DiSanto, 76, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

Jeanie was born on May 6, 1949, in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of John and Lucy (Newell) Newell.

In addition to her parents, Jeanie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael DiSanto; and her brothers, Gerald Newell and Glenn Newell.

She is survived by her sons, John Glisan (wife Bernadette) and Chad Glisan; grandchildren, Trevor Glisan (wife Kariena), Zack Glisan, Olivia Glisan, and Isaiah Glisan-Gowton (husband Ty); great-grandchildren, Michael and Hunter; sister, Shirley Davis; her cat, Bella; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received in the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 10 until 11 a.m., at which time a service will be held in the funeral home with Eric and James Glisan officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount St. Macrina Cemetery.
