Dorinda "Dori" Lee Johnson Gramer Mita of Orlando, age 71, peacefully accepted her angel wings on Friday, June 29, 2018. Born in Geneva, Illinois as the first child of Walter and Shirley Johnson. She moved to Winter Park, FL when she was ten and attended Park Avenue Elementary, Glenridge Junior High and graduated from Winter Park High School. She lived in the same house in the College Park area of Orlando for more than 50 years and worked for decades in various offices and retail establishments.

Dori never met a stranger and brightened the lives of everyone she knew with her sweet smile, caring nature and loving heart. She will always be cherished as an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, Mimi, aunt and friend.

Dori was preceded in death by her father, Walter Johnson, and brothers, Mark "MJ" Johnson and David "Dave" Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Barry Mita; daughters, Tammi Gramer Eubank (Doug) and Jennifer Gramer Simmons (Mastin); mother, Shirley Johnson; sister Cindy "CJ" Johnson (Rebecca Catalanotto); grandson Benjamin Eubank; nephew Cameron Johnson-Catalanotto; niece Tara Treadway; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. Also left to cherish her memory are her best friend Mardi Krone, the Glenridge girls, the Guarneri girls and many friends and shopping buddies.

A celebration of Dori's life will be held at St Michael's Episcopal Church (2499 N Westmoreland Dr, Orlando, FL 32804) on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11am with Reverend Happy Gafford officiating. There will be a reception to follow in Quigley Hall. Please be ready to share your best blonde memories of our Dori.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice or, better yet, simply be an angel on earth as she was.
