Miss Dora Huaman Romero died peacefully in Altamonte Springs on Saturday November 23rd, 2024, at the age of 84.

Dora is survived by her siblings Gonzalo Huaman Romero and wife Shirley Huaman, Maximiliana Huaman Romero de Meneses and husband Bernardino Meneses, Esther Gauthier and husband Philippe Gauthier, Nelly Huaman Romero de Salvador and husband Walter Salvador, Martin Huaman Romero and wife Silvia Elena Reynoso.

She was preceded in death by her brother Constantino Huaman Romero, sister Julia Huaman Romero, brother Norberto Huaman Romero, and sister Zoila Huaman Romero.
She is also leaving behind 20 nieces and nephews which she treated as her own and they had 29 children and 2 grandchildren.

Dora was born on December 1st, 1939, in Huangascar, a province of Yauyos Lima, Peru. She graduated from the prestigious University of San Marcos in 1965 with a Doctorate's degree in Microbiology. She then taught at that university as a professor for 40 years. She has proudly supported many family members while getting their education. In 2002, she retired to Sanford, Florida.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, at 1pm at DeGusipe funeral home, with a reception to follow. Chaplain Jose Torres will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dora's life.
