With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna L. Geyer, who left this world peacefully on August 14, 2023, in Lake Mary, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born on December 17, 1940, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, to Scott and Minnie Morris.
Donna spent her early years in Oklahoma before relocating to Abilene, Texas, in 1979. She dedicated herself to being a loving mother and wife, ensuring her home was always filled with warmth and care. In 1988, Donna began her career with Dillard's, where she became a respected member of the Estée Lauder cosmetics team. Her 27 years of service were marked by numerous accolades and a reputation for excellence.
Donna had a passion for interior design, a hobby that turned her home into a beautiful work of art. She cherished her friendships, enjoyed reading, and found great joy in creating a welcoming environment for her loved ones. In 2018, Donna moved to Florida to be closer to her family, where she continued to be a source of love and support.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Minnie Morris.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rita Geyer Thedford of Winter Springs, FL, and Regina Geyer Appleby (Bob); her grandchildren, Ben Thedford (Rachel) of Lake Mary, FL, Keanu Thedford, Ayden Thedford, Sawyer Thedford, Avery Thedford Carroll (Matt) of Brevard, NC, Teddy Carroll ,Jack Carroll , William Robert Appleby III of Winter Springs, FL, and Geyer Rhys Appleby of Winter Springs, FL.
Donna's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A private family service will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Donna's memory.
