Donald Stanley entered this life March 13, 1935 in Elizabeth, New Jersey son of the late Clifton James Bradley and Thelma Stanley-Givens. He was raised by his grandfather Samuel Bradley and grandmother Bertha Bradley.
Donald joined the United States Army at the age of 17. He gave his life to the Army from 1954 to 1976. He served in the United States Army Military Police Corps. He retired as First Sergeant 563d Military Police Company (Fort Hamilton, New York).
He was a member of AM-VET and a Mason - given the Honor of Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret 32'.
Preceding Donald in death are his parents Clifton James Bradley and Thelma Stanley-Givens, his sister Deborah Sarku, brother James Clifton Bradley and stepbrother David Fortune.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Joyce Stanley, son; Mark C. Stanley, Stepdaughter: Terra Hardin, Stepsons; Leonard Dixon-Toriano Hardin, Ramon Pedrozo, and LeeAndrew Pedrozo, sisters; Shirley Hardison, Carolyn Howard, Gwendolyn LeGrand, Wendy Hopkins, Tawanda Brandon, brothers; James Moore, Drew White, stepbrother; Donald Givens, Godson; Jubair LeGrand, and a host of nieces and nephews including his favorite nephew James LeGrand, and close friends including Gary Brown, Lois Trotter, Willis Joseph and Elizabeth Penny Thompson.
