Donald "Donnie" Sego of Maitland FL, passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 82, in
Altamonte Springs, FL.

Donald was born in Hart County, KY, where he was the youngest of seven children. He later moved to Louisville, KY where he graduated from Ahrens Trade High School. After serving in the Navy, he married Loretta Joyce Sanders in 1964. They bought a house in the Louisville area where Donald made major additions to the house by himself. He and his wife raised three children in Louisville. He was a long-time, hard-working employee of Philip Morris in Louisville. Donnie and Joyce moved to Orlando area in 2015, where he lived the rest of his life. Donnie enjoyed spending time with family, building things, fixing things, cooking, and eating!

Donnie is survived by his daughter Trina Sego and son-in-law Shikhar Sarin of Boise ID, son Chris Sego and daughter-in-law Rebecca Kroll Sego of Oviedo FL, and five loving grand-children, Justus, Saumya, Sabria, Amiya and Amalia. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Sanders Sego, son Timothy Sego, and son Donald "JR" Sego.

A graveside service will be held at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery, Cub Run, KY in the summer of 2025. A date is yet to be determined.
