Donald D. Napier, 83, of Winter Park, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025. He was born on December 16, 1941, in North Plainfield, New Jersey, to the late Donald and Marjorie Napier.
Don shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Nancy Napier, who survives him. He was a devoted father to Donald B. Napier (Erin, deceased), Michael Napier (Renee) and Elizabeth Hicklin (Lance). and a proud grandfather to James, Mia, Donald, Taggart, Bowen, and Chase. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Callie, who was always by his side.
A man of deep faith, Don was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. He was also proud to have served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He built a successful career as the owner of an insurance agency before retiring. In his younger years, he played baseball at the University of Miami, where his lifelong love of sports began. He remained a passionate Hurricanes football fan and dedicated season ticket holder for many years.
Besides spending time with his family, travel was Don's greatest passion. He was a world traveler who explored the globe and had the joy of visiting all seven continents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Queen of Angels Cemetery, Winter Park, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haiti Ministry at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
