Donald F. LeFils Sr., age 92, of Osteen, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025. He was born at home in Geneva, Florida, on November 14, 1932. to Grover and Clemeta (Mees) LeFils.
Donald spent his life exploring many different jobs and careers. He was a cattle rancher, a poultry farmer for 15 years, as well as, driving a logging truck for 17 years. He was a member of All Souls Catholic Church, Sacristan as 5:00 Mass, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Volusia County Cattleman's Association, Volusia County Farm Bureau and Tree Farmer of the Year in 1991.
He lived on the family ranch, which was his little piece of heaven, and he loved his family and faith more than anything.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Grover and Clemeta (Mees) LeFils and his son, Donald Jr. (Pam) and his daughter, Deborah Anne. He is survived by his loving wife Mary "Winkie" LeFils (Blackman). He leaves behind 7 other children: Libbey (close friend Mark) DeBary, Jim (Jody) Osteen, Susan (Jeff) Osteen, Greg (Susie) Osteen, Teresa (Mike) Summertown, TN, Patricia Ocala, Sharon (Scott) Ocala. Donald is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
