Donald V. Dessoy passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 after a long battle with T-cell Cutaneous Lymphoma. He was born to the late Valentine and Edith Anstice Dessoy on January 5, 1937 in Montreal, Canada. Don attended Etobicoke Collegiate High School in Toronto and graduated from the University of Miami in 1959. Upon graduation, Don served in the U.S. Army and was then employed by Texaco Oil Company for 32 years. Don enjoyed golf and spending his summers at this cabin in Franklin, NC.

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Molthrop and the wonderful nurses at Florida South Hospital and Winter Park Hospital for the wonderful care given to Don in his final months.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Sue; daughter, Donna Nance (Jim); son, Brian (Sara); grandchildren, Bobby Nance, Hayden, Emma, and Harris Dessoy and sister, Doreen Noonan.

Don was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Winter Park, FL for 50 years and there will be a viewing in the church chapel on Friday evening, April 25, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:30pm and a Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00pm also in the Chapel.
