Born in Illinois in 1952, Dominic Dema is the son of Grace Gillenwater and James Dema Sr. Dominic followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Army and was eventually deployed to Vietnam. After a few years overseas, Dominic came home and worked at his father's factory temporarily until establishing himself in business, where he sold insurance and investments. His career pinnacled in 1987 when he won citation through his company and we went on a family trip to Maui, Hawaii. Finally, in 1997, his dream of living in Florida finally came true. We'll always remember him for his giving nature and corny jokes. He is survived by his son, Dominic Joseph Dema, his sisters, Christine Dema and Evon Vistain, and his brother, James Dema Jr. He was predeceased by his wife, Victoria Anne Dema.
