Dolores Jean Hughes age 95 passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2023 at home in Seminole, Florida.

She was born on November 5th, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio to Guy R Haskins and Gertrude Grubbles.
She married Otto Hughes on February 25th, 1949 in Kansas.

She worked as a Supervisor at JcPenny's for many years making a lot of good friends who would call her family because no matter the day they were having she would always make it better.
Dolores was a short little ball of fire with a feisty attitude but would help or give anyone the shirt off her back.

Her big passions in life were Church, Choir, Massonary Trips, Family get together and playing on her Oregan.

She is survived by her husband Otto Hughes, son's Otto Hughes and Larry Hughes, Daughter in Law Denise Hughes and Debra Hughes, Grandchildren Dustin Hughes, Joan Mengel, Heather Hartle, Tom Hartle, Ashley Thomas, Amber Thornton and Andrew Thornton. She also was a very devoted great grandmother to eleven great grandchildren.

Family, Friends and others are invited to the DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory located at 3530 49th St N St. Petersburg, FL 33710 from 1:30pm-3:00pm on September 10th, 2023 to reminisce and honor the life of Dolores Jean Hughes who will always be missed but never forgotten.
