Dolores "Lory" Gonzalez, 67, passed away at Hospice of the Comforter on Sunday, February 26, 2017.

Born on October 25, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of the late Joseph Gaetano and Dorothy Bartos. She moved to Central Florida with her family at the age of 8. She attended Maynard Evans High School and Valencia Community College.

Lory enjoyed her family, going to be beach, decorating her homes and vacationing when possible. She worked in various roles from a wig/hair stylist, constructing and repairing hearing aids, customer service and owning wig boutique to support people going through chemotherapy.

Lory was a member of The Vine Church of Greater Orlando.

Lory is survived by her husband of 29 years, Carlos Gonzalez of Apopka, FL; her son, Jack Ortiz of Apopka, FL; her daughter, Michelle Ortiz-Raventos of Apopka, FL; her sister, Sharyn Ann Martin of Orlando, FL; her half-sisters and brothers in various locations throughout the US; her grandsons, Kristian and Nikolas Raventos of Apopka, FL and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was greeted in heaven by her mother, Dorothy.

A celebration of her life is scheduled for Saturday, March 11th at 12:00pm, giving all who loved and cared about her time to make their plans to attend. We are celebrating her by wearing green, since it was her favorite color.
