Dianne Boone Wesley, 64, of Longwood, passed peacefully in her sleep after a long illness on Tuesday, November 14th.
Dianne was born in Alexandria, Virginia. Educated at the University of Michigan and Georgetown University, she spent her career working in healthcare; one of her greatest joys was working with her patient's and the fascinating world of medicine. After an injury she quit working to care for her home and family, to garden, draw and pursue other interest. She loved to sit outside and feel the sun. Dianne was a Catholic and her faith was a part of every moment of her life.
She is preceded by her mother, Marlene Goode, her father, Charles Bradley, her cherished brothers Jeff and Chuck Bradley, brother-in-law Rocky Wesley and father-in-law Adrian Wesley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, John "Tex" Scott Wesley, her children Rachel Reichardt (William), Travis Boone, Theresa Taplin and Stephen Cicinato.
Her grandchildren Blake Peterson, Matthew Reichardt, Christopher Reichardt (Catherine), CarylAnne Taplin, Joshua Reichardt, William Taplin, Hannah Rae Boone, Brianna Boone, her great-grand children Kyly and Knysly Gingles and two more blessings soon to join the world held a special place in her heart and daily prayers.
Dianne is also survived by her Mother-In-Law, Martha Wesley , brother-in-law Chet Wesley, Aunt Carol Billups (Bill), sister-in laws Colette Bradley and Marie Bradley, niece Bianca, her old friend and former husband, Daniel Boone, his Mom, Theresa Boone, Sisters Bonnie Boone, Laurie Logan (Tom), and brothers, John Boone and Joe Boone (Kim). She is also survived by many loving cousins, family and good friends.
In keeping with Dianne's wishes a small group of family and friends will gather Tuesday, November 21 to say goodbye and share memories, later her husband and children will scatter her ashes as requested.
Dianne was deeply loved and will be very missed. The greatest contribution you can make in her memory would be to do something kind for a stranger with a heart full of love and friendship.
