Dianne Porreca, née Krug, (67) Orlando, FL, died (10/8/2018) of complications from cancer. Dianne was the daughter of the late Constance (Bryans) and Robert Krug. Originally from Wyomissing, PA, She graduated from Wyomissing Area Schools and The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, exceedingly proud of her alma mater, and a lifelong Buckeye! Dianne valued education and was a lifelong learner, earning her master's, several business certificates, and continually taking classes from varied universities and colleges. She loved reading and learning languages, especially Italian.

Dianne is survived by her much loved husband, Joseph, her beloved son, Nicholas A. Cambria (Melanie), of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Kristen Kiehn of Waverly, MA; an adored stepdaughter, Stephanie Rome, (Daniel), of Charlotte, NC; , stepson, Mark, (Candi), of Pasco, WA; and five unbelievably wonderful granddaughters: Stephanie Smith, Kaylee and Ava Rome, and, Aria and Capri Cambria.

After teaching in both OH and PA, she left education and transitioned to the safety and marketing fields as a construction PM and safety director in both the Reading and Harrisburg, PA areas. She later founded a successful safety/marketing company in Harrisburg, before retiring to Virginia, where she returned to her passion-teaching. She was last employed by New Kent County Public Schools, as a teacher of middle school English and US History before being medically retired. Dianne tutored and mentored many children throughout King and Queen, West Point and New Kent counties. She loved Virginia, living in the woods near the river, and the wonderful people of King and Queen.

Once retired, she and her husband eventually moved to Florida, close to her son and many friends there. She loved traveling, especially to her favorite city, Venice, Italy; taking pictures of scenery and wildlife, especially blue herons; visiting Walt Disney World and taking her spoiled boxer Maddie on walks and to dog parks with friends. Above all, she cherished spending time with family – especially her grandchildren who made her continually smile and laugh.

She was a survivor of Stage Four Ovarian Cancer and thanked God every day for that miracle. Dianne tried to bring awareness of that silent killer to any women she met and raved about the UF and Florida Hospital Cancer Centers in Orlando where she sought treatment.

A lifelong Episcopalian, Dianne was an active member of St. John's West Point, VA, where she was involved in many of its ministries, including serving as a member and Senior warden of the Vestry. She was also an enthusiastic member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Central King and Queen (VA) Volunteer Fire Department. She will be interred in the Mausoleum at Arlington National Cemetery.
