Mrs. Dianne J. (Sniezek) Abaray, age 77 years, of Sanford, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at home surrounded by family.

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Mrs. Abaray attended Mount St. Mary's Academy in Watchung, NJ and lived in Princeton Jct., NJ where she owned and operated a children's clothing shop, with her husband. She and Robert met in high school and were married for 57 years. They celebrated many special anniversaries at favorite travel spots over the years. In 1984 they relocated to Sanford where Mrs. Abaray was a realtor and volunteered at Annunciation Church Bookstore for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L., of Sanford, FL; daughter Karen Phillips and her husband, John, of Westfield, NJ; Scot Abaray and his wife, Yolanda; Robert A. Abaray and his wife, April; Janice Abaray of Orinda, CA; and Gregory Abaray and his wife, Tracey, of Auburndale, FL; and loving grandmother of nine grandchildren.

Dianne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always saw the good in people and this made it always a pleasure to spend time with her. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with family. Holidays were very special because it meant gathering family near and far and enjoying family meals that she loved to prepare with other members. She was a graceful, gentle soul. She particularly loved the lake house vacations with the family and all the grandchildren. She saw through the chaos and instead saw the joy.

It was never a problem for her to pause her day for a nice pastry and coffee with family. She and Bob did this daily, it was their ritual. They also enjoyed traveling together near and far and seeking out the 'perfect' breakfast.

A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 3 p.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL. A Funeral Mass will be at Annunciation Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs, Florida, date to be determined.
