It is with great sadness that the family of Dexter Lit Farrow announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, October 11th, 2018, at the age of 67 in Sanford, Florida.
Dexter, son of the late Jimmie and Louise Farrow, was born June 17th, 1951 in Collins, Georgia. He attended the public schools of Polk County and was a licensed electrician. At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and attended multiple churches until committing to Central Baptist Church where his complete faith in our Lord was pledged though his baptism. Dexter was an active member of the church. Dexter was loved and admired for his generous spirit and grounded personality. His life was as beautiful as his faith in the Lord; the sheer joy of spending time with family and friends, playing golf, board games and fishing will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
Dexter was united in holy matrimony to Janice Carol Farrow (Henderson) on January 30th, 1969. This union was blessed with three sons and his family will forever cherish him. His parents and his eldest brother Johnnie Farrow preceded him in death. His memory is carried on in the hearts of his living family and friends: His 3 sons Eric Lit Farrow, Mark DeWayne Farrow, Michael Dale Farrow; daughter-in-laws Alicia Farrow, Tania Farrow and Jennifer Farrow; his grandchildren Tia-Brooke Farrow, Ariel Farrow, Steven Farrow, Molly Farrow, Charlie Farrow, Lucy Farrow, and Wyatt Farrow, his brother Wendell Farrow, sisters Eloise Binkley, June Davis; sisters-in-law Debbie Farrow and Wanda Farrow.
